Jean Moser

Jean (Spencer) Moser, 71 of Earl Township, died August 1, 2013 in her son's residence.

Born in West Reading, PA on September 10, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Ralph T. and Sara (Bertolet) Spencer.

She was a graduate of Boyertown High School.

Jean was a member of Unity of Reading Church.

She was employed 13 years with Penn Optical, Reading.

Jean had also previously been employed a number of years on her parents farm; Shanesville Fruit Farm, Boyertown.

She was a member of Parents without partners and the Red Hat Society.

Jean is survived by two children: Terry L., husband of Marsha A. (Stepsie) Moser of Oley Township and Susan I. Moser of Reading.

She is also survived by two siblings: Ralph Lee Spencer and Bert Spencer, both of Earl Township.

Other survivors include her longtime companion, Richard D. Moyer of Reading; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Spencer of Earl Township and her former spouse, Leroy Moser of Earl Township.

There are also three grandchildren: Marcy L., wife of Cody Lightbourne; Zachary E. Moser and Jenna M. Sassaman and three great grandchildren: Coderro, Cordin and Comar Lightbourne.

She was predeceased by two siblings: her twin-sister Irene Spencer and Clark Spencer.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 9th at 1:30 pm in Blankenbiller Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 423 Main St., Oley. A visitation will be held from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm.
