Jean Mary Roland

Jean Mary (Hannon) Roland, 84, passed away August 12, 2015, at Reading Hospital.

Her husband, James Walter Roland died on October 1, 2013. They were married on August 19, 1950.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter William and Josephine (Palm) Hannon.

She was a 1948 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Jean was an active member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Mohnton.

She was also a member of the St. John's Prime Timers and HE Irish Wolfhound Association of Delaware Valley.

Jean is survived by two children, Joseph M., husband of Kathy L. Roland, Sinking Spring, and her daughter, Kathleen L., wife of William Leininger, Denver, PA. Also surviving are her six grandchildren, Bryan Leininger, Kelly Leininger, Erick Leininger, Steven Leininger, Matthew Roland, Brenda Roland Skalski and one great-grandchild, Fiona Kate Skalski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 18th at 11 a.m. in St. Benedict's R.C. Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Benedict's Church, at the above address. Edward J.
