Jean F. Lash

Jean F. (Becker) Lash, 78 of West Reading, passed away on June 20, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Walter R. Lash, Sr.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Mabel (Merkel) Becker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Walter R. Lash, Richland; Robert L., husband of Candace Lash, Bernville and a daughter, Kathleen A., wife of Paul Patrie, Jr., Reading.

Other survivors include three brothers, Edwin Becker, Reading; Robert Becker, Birdsboro; Donald Becker, Reading; two sisters, Shirley Drexel, Bern Township; Patricia Bohn, Sinking Spring; and four grandchildren, Heather Lash; Bradley Lash; Melissa Lash and Allison Patrie.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605. Edward J.
