Jean A. Kaintz

Jean A. Kaintz, 80, of Reading Avenue, West Reading, died Nov. 27 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since Nov. 7.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Mahr) Kaintz.

Kaintz was employed for 36 years as a trimmer by the Wide Awake Shirt Co., Reading, retiring in 1977.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, where she was a CCD teacher for eight years.

Surviving are a sister, Clementine M. (Kaintz) Cernobyl, West Reading, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Laureldale.
