Jean L. Gill Finney

Jean L. Gill Finney, 85, died March 4, 2008 in her Wyomissing residence.

She was the widow Lewis Finney.

Born in Johnson City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Clay L. and Elizabeth (Montross) Moore.

Jean was first employed in retail sales in Johnson City, NY. Upon moving to Reading, she worked in the business department for Luppold Heating and Air Conditioning, Reading for many years. She was currently employed by Reading Specialists. Mrs. Finney was also a volunteer at the Reading Hospital.

She is survived by her son, who she had in her first marriage, Dr. Robert W. Gill, husband of Dr. Susan E. Kraus, Reading; and her granddaughter, Paige G., wife of Michael G. Lamparella, III, Philadelphia. There are also several nieces and nephews.

Jean was predeceased by one brother, William B. Moore and two sisters, Avis M. Taugher and Lois J. Moore.
