Jean A. Dry

Jean A. Dry, 68, of West Windsor Street died of natural causes Oct. 18 at 4 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been admitted earlier in the day.

Born in Oley, she was a daughter of the late John Y. and Verna (Stufflet) Dry.

Dry had been employed for 37 years as a preborder of silk stockings at the Hans C. Bick Hosiery Co., Talbot Knitting Mills and most recently David Crystal Inc., all of Reading, retiring in 1987.

She was a 1951 graduate of Reading High School.

Dry, who resided with Eleanor Street, has no known survivors.

Services will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
