Jean Catherine (Yeager) Reichert, 82, formerly of Temple and Country Meadows, went to be with our Lord on October 14, 2010 in Summit Place, Little River, SC, where she resided since April 2009.
She was the wife of Woodrow Reichert who died October 14, 2007.
Born May 7, 1928 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Estella M. (Einsel) Yeager.
Jean was employed by the former Windsor Card Store, the former Zipf's Candies, Muhlenberg Township and then by the former Hafer's Pharmacy, Laureldale.
She was a member of Salem Shalter Lutheran Church, Alsace Township, where she was a former councilwoman.
Jean was a loving, caring woman whith a beautiful smile and beautiful blue eyes.
Surviving is a son, Thomas, husband of Carol A. (Heckman) Reichert of Loris, SC.
In addition, there is a grandson, Timothy J., husband of Terri (McDonald) Reichert of Angier, NC and a great grandson, a great granddaughter and a step-great granddaughter.
Jean was predeceased by one brother, Jimmie Yeager and three sisters, Marie Shimp, Betty Schnee and Mary Croft.
Services will be Tuesday, October 26th at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Salem Shaler's Cemetery, Alsace Township.
