Jay C. Hoff

Jay Charles Hoff, 70, of 251 Fairview Street, (Muhlenberg Township) Reading, Pa 19605 died shortly after admission June 17th in the Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He was the husband of Edith Ruth (Boyer) Hoff.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Charles Dimmick and Esther Alvena (DeWalt) Hoff.

He was a 1951 graduate of Reading High School.

Hoff worked for a number of years as a parts clerk at International Harvester Trucking, Reading until his retirement.

He was an Army Veteran.

Hoff is also survived by a son, Gregory Jay husband of Regina B. (Blizzard) Hoff of Allentown and a daughter, Pamela Kay (Hoff) Meyer-Middleton wife of Gregory M. Middleton of Fleetwood.

Other survivors include a sister, Audrey Joyce (Hoff) widow of John Haubrich of Reading.

Also surviving is a grandson, Michael James Meyer of Fleetwood.

He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Ann (Hoff) Berkenstock.

Memorial services will be Tuesday at 4:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Visitation will be Tuesday 3:00 pm until time of service. Burial will be private.
