Janice Chase

On September 18, 2015, Janice Marie (Lamparella) Chase passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a three year battle with breast cancer. She was born on September 24, 1956 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Michael George Lamparella Sr. and Elvera Pavone Lamparella. She graduated of Wilson High School in 1974 and Syracuse University where she met her beloved husband of 34 years, Bill. They moved to Sarasota where they raised their three loving children, Will (Jessica), Lauren, and Marissa. She was preceded by her sister, Diana, and her sister-in-law, Lucille. She is survived by her brother, Michael Jr. (Sherry).

Janice was a devoted wife and mother who loved to travel the world with her family, have fun with her friends, and was active in the Sarasota Community. She had been a long time member of Covenant Life Presbyterian Church and more recently enjoyed Sunday Worship at the Garden at Church of the Palms.

Everyone who had ever encountered Janice enjoyed her loving nature and positive attitude. She was a second mother to many of her children's friends. Her motto was to be so happy that when others look at you they become happy too.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 17, 2015 at noon in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
