Janice (Molina) Ayala, 68, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Marine Gunnery Sergeant, Jose "Joe" Ayala. They shared 41 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Genoveva (Roman) Rosa and the late Francisco Rosa Molina. Janice graduated from Reading High and worked in the Wilson School District as a bus aide, and administrative assistant. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing skill machines, baking, singing, and watching a good movie. She also enjoyed interior design and decorating her home. Janice also loved to spoil her chihuahua, Precious.
Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She will be remembered for her big heart, and loving personality.
In addition to Jose, her memory will be cherished by her children: Darnell Molina, Rami Lee Torres, Timothy Molina, and William Molina; her siblings: Carmen Olivencia (John Madero), Nora Silkworth (David), Francisco Molina (Irene), Nilda Melendez, Paul Rosa, and Helen Lugo (Jose); as well as her dear friends Gary and Connie Cirulli. She joins in Heaven her sister, Damarie Lugo, and her brother, Manuel "Manny" Molina.
The funeral services for Janice will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611, with burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the service.
