Janet . Roth

Janet L. Roth, 77, of Windsor Township, passed away July 7, 2017 in St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bern Township. She fought a long, hard battle with breast cancer.  She was the widow of Ralph Reed "Randy" Roth, who passed away February 9, 2016. Janet was born in Shillington and was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Geneva S. (Wanner) Coldren. She was a 1958 graduate of Hamburg High School and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. She was employed by the United States Postal Service as a rural carrier in Windsor Township for 21 years, retiring in 2000. She was a die-hard Phillies fan. She is survived by her children; Randy L. Roth, Perry Township, Robin L. (Roth) wife of Michael D. Wert, Kutztown, Ricky R. husband of Karen L (Krumanocker) Roth, Windsor Township, grandchildren; Tyson R. husband of Kelly (Breininger) Roth, Cameron R. and Courtney R. Roth and Jaime L. Wert and two great-grandchildren. Janet is also survived by her siblings; Harriet M. (Coldren) wife of Ivan Buyum, Hamburg and William E. husband of Sherry (Young) Coldren, Sebring, FL.  A memorial service will be held at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg  on Friday  at  11:00 a.m.  A visitation with the family will be held from  10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
