Janet F. Nestler

Janet F. (Coller) Nestler, 81, of Reading, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019, at the Mifflin Center.

She was the loving wife of Barry F. Nestler. They married on July 5, 1958.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy (Jones) Coller.

She was a 1955 graduate of Reading High School.

Janet was employed as an executive secretary for the Greater Reading Board of Realtors and Great Valley Savings and Loan.

She was past treasurer for the East End Athletic Club.

Janet enjoyed traveling to Sanibel Island and North Carolina. She also loved spending time with her family.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Sheldon F., husband of Emelyn Nestler, Reading and Christopher J. Nestler, Exeter; one sister, Ruth Ann Grishkot, NC; three grandchildren, Sheldon, Kane and Conner Nestler; and two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Matthew Nestler.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Eckenroth and Jacqueline Devera.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
