Janet L. Mandolos

Janet L. (Steeley) Mandolos, 78, of Bern Township, died May 31, 2015, at Berks Heim.

She was the widow of Gust Mandolos.

Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Fern) Steeley.

Janet is survived by three children: Gustav James Mandolos, Kathleen L. Auchenbach, both of Bern Township and Constance Brooks, Leesport; her sister, Carol Heacock, Gilbertsville; five grandchildren: Megan, Ricky, Madison, Elliot and Emery; and two great-grandchildren: Delaney and Charlotte.

She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Steeley.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greenfields Fire Company, 2339 Bernville Rd, Reading, PA 19605.
