Janet Louise Lash

Janet Louise Lash, 70, of the Wyndcliffe Apartments, 100 Chestnut Street, Hamburg died of natural causes June 19th at 4:50 p.m. in the St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading where she had been a patient since Tuesday.

Lash was the widow of Walter Frederick Lash (Died September 25, 1987).

Born in Port Clinton, Schuylkill County she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Annie (Stein) Wink.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Port Clinton.

Lash is survived by a daughter; Tammy L. (Lash) wife of Chris Buchanan of St. Lawrence.

She is also survived by two sisters; Pearl (Wink) widow of Paul Swoyer of Tilden Township, and Elizabeth (Wink) Lischak of Port Clinton.

Other surviviors include three brothers; Warren widower of Hazel Wink, Robert C. Wink both of Auburn, Schuylkill County, and William Wink of Dallas, Luzerne County.

Lash is also survived by a granddaughter; Francesca M. Pollari of St. Lawrence.

Graveside services will be held Monday June 24th at 10:00 a.m. in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association 2045 Westgate Drive, Suite 302, Bethlehem, Pa 18017. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
