Janet Howells

Janet Anne (Dennison) Howells, 81, of Temple, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, in the care of Penn State St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was the widow of John Barry Howells, who passed away in 2015.

Born in Hazleton to the late Frederick Rhoads Dennison and Mary Jane (Mayer) Dennison, Janet graduated from Hazleton High School.

She worked as a dental assistant at Dr. Grimm in Reading.

Janet was a strong woman who valued her privacy.

Janet is survived by her son, John B. Howells II, and grandchildren Brianna Howells, and Jeremy Howells. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Janet was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne Howells, who passed away on February 6, 2023.
