Janelle L. Werner, 55, of Reading, passed away November 16, 2011 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Carl M. Werner.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Phyllis (Pennock) Stacherski, Reading and the late Neil Henry.

Janelle worked in distribution for H. Oritsky Co., Reading, for over 24 years; she then worked for Snap-On Tools until August of 2011.

She loved mountain lions, was a proud supporter of T&D's Cats of the World and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children: Carl M., husband of April Werner, Shillington and TeAnne M. Werner, Reading. Also surviving are her siblings and siblings-in-law: Daryl, husband of Jean Henry, Keith Henry, Brent, husband of Linda Lorah, Brian Lorah, Aaron, husband of Sue Lorah, Lori, wife of Daniel Phillips, Kimberly, wife of Donald Mell, Neil Henry, Frank, husband of Bonnie Werner, Scott, husband of Abbey Werner, Robert and Sheryl Werner, Carol Werner, Jamie Werner and Eric, husband of Gail Werner. Four grandchildren: Caleb Irey, Owen Werner, Noah Werner, Peyton Kane; many nieces and nephews and her former step-father, Frank Stacherski, survive her.

She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Henry and her brother-in-law Gene Werner.

A Memorial Service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Janelle L. Werner Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 6018, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
