Janelle Marie Bechtel

Janelle Marie (Klemmer Biehl) Bechtel, 68, of Fleetwood passed away in her residence on Thursday, June 19th 2025 after a long battle with cancer.

She is the late wife of Kenneth "Ken" D. Bechtel, with whom she shared 33 years of marriage.

Janelle was born on December 3rd, 1956 in Reading, PA. She was the daughter of the late LeRoy C. Biehl and Jean A. (Frick) Biehl.

Janelle went on to graduate high school and become a CNA. She worked at Manor Care for many years as a nursing assistant before retiring; she loved what she did and it was reflected in her work. In her free time, Janelle enjoyed travelling and spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids, and dogs. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and all those who knew her.

Janelle is survived by her loving husband, Ken; her two siblings, Kraig Biehl and Elizabeth "Scottie" (Klemmer) Kelly; her six doting daughters; Jennifer (Bechtel) Schaffer, wife of Rodney; Erin (O'Brien) Stroup, wife of James; Elizabeth (Bechtel) Stocking, wife of Troy; Heather (O'Brien) Stoeber, wife of Charles; Stephanie (Bechtel) Wagner, wife of Ryan; and Misty (Beeman) Warner, wife of Rob; 14 grandchildren; Gabriella, Austin, Bryce, Kendra, Rodney, Samuel, Meredith, Jeana, Emory, Charlotte, Ashtyn, Amelia, Brynleigh, and Ellie; one great-grandson, Koen; and her dogs, Paisley and JuJu.

Janelle is predeceased by her parents and her two grandsons, Dominic and Anthony Warner.

A funeral ceremony in Janelle's memory will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple PA 19560. A viewing will be held that day beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
