Jane L. Weidenhammer

Jane L. (Richards) Weidenhammer, 89, formerly of West Wyomissing and Reading, died April 20, 2014, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Her husband, Robert H. Weidenhammer, died April 22, 2010.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Eben P. and Esther V. (Ritter) Richards.

She was employed by Ludens for 34 years, retiring in 1980.

Jane was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Reading.

She is survived by her son, Kurt R. Weidenhammer, Philadelphia; her twin sister, June M. Thornburg, Leesport; two grandchildren, Kevin and Karin and four great-grandchildren.

Jane was predeceased by three siblings, Robert, Miriam and Yvette.

Services will be Friday at 11a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
