Jane Schwenker

Jane Ann Schwenker, 86, of Reading, passed away June 9, 2014 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Robert C. " Bob" Schwenker, whom she married 59 years ago on October 29, 1955.

Born November 9, 1928 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harry-John and Helen (Mc Peek) Aeble.

She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School.

Jane worked for Glob Department Store, Scranton, as an office manager.

She was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband she is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as her honorary nieces and dear friends.

Jane was predeceased by her brother, Jack Aeble.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Dumore Cemetery, Scranton. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
