Jane L Davis

Jane L. Davis, 89, passed away July 29, 2015 in Columbia Cottage. She formerly lived in the Highlands.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Reber) Schnabel.

She was the widow of William J. Davis who passed away January 20, 1981.

Jane received her bachelor's degree from Albright College in Political Science and graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Baltimore.

She was employed as a registered nurse by the Reading Hospital.

Jane is a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church of West Reading.

She is survived by her son, Andrew, widower of Carol Davis, Basking Ridge, NJ; daughters: Rebecca, wife of Gary Noll, Sinking Spring; and Jennifer Davis, Laurel, MD; and two grandchildren Remy Davis and Griffin Davis.

Jane was predeceased by a sister, Ann Stone.

She was a professional dancer in Baltimore. She was an avid swimmer and reader. Jane especially loved her summers in Stone Harbor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 740 Cherry St, West Reading, PA 19611. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 830-930 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611.
