Jane C. Hutt

Jane Carolyn (Fry) Hutt, 79, died June 1st at 11:58 am in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Bertha M. (Egner) Fry.

She was a 1943 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a 1947 graduate of Kutztown University.

Hutt was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She was employed as a teacher for the Mount Penn School District from 1947-1953 and later at Dade County Schools, Miami, Florida from 1953 until her retirement in 1986.

Hutt volunteered 15 years at the Muhlenberg Community Library.

She was a life member of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society for Teachers.

Hutt is survived by a daughter, Kathy Ann (Hutt) wife of Ronald L. Sanders of Laureldale.

Other survivors include a sister, Charlotte (Fry) Fegley of Reading and two grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Grant Wickert officiating. Viewing Saturday 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
