Jane T. Hastings

Jane T. Hastings, 96, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, died November 9, 2006 in Cherry Creek Nursing Center, Aurora, CO.

Her husband Paul T. Hastings died January 3, 1981.

Born in Reading, PA at 433 Chestnut Street, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sallie (Szymanski) Weill.

She was a secretary for Wyomissing Boro Hall for 20 years retiring in 1975.

Jane was a graduate of Reading High School in 1929.

She was a long time member of the Wyomissing Hills Garden Club and past president of the Berks Chapter of the American Gesneria Society.

Jane is survived by three sons, Michael P. Columbia, MD, Patric J., Aurora, CO and Paul T., Jr., Warner Robins, GA. There are also 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
