Jane K. Goodhart

Jane K. Goodhart, 87, died April 8, 2009 in her Hyde Park residence.

She was the wife of Warren E. Goodhart.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Eagle and Beulah Bitler.

She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1940.

Jane was the credit union manager for eleven years for UGI, retiring in 1986; previously, she was employed in the same capacity by Willson Safety Products, Reading for nine years.

Mrs. Goodhart belonged to the Community Seniors, Mohnton. She loved to garden, especially roses, traveling and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Carolyn A., wife of John F. Duncan, Reading; her brother, James, husband of Marie Lepine, Reading; two grandchildren, Mark E. Rightmyer and Steven P., husband of Virginia P. Rightmyer; her step-grandson, Johnny F. Duncan and her great-grandson, Cory S. Rightmyer.

Jane was predeceased by two brothers and one sister; one grandson, Eric D. Rightmyer and her cousin, Charles "Jack" Kissinger.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
