Jane Violet Deininger

Jane Violet (Kranis) Deininger, 75, formerly of Reading, died December 26, 2013, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John Kranis and Elizabeth (Parenti) Moretta.

She was employed by Construction Fastener, Wyomissing. She previously worked as a waitress for Reading Motor Inn.

Jane enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing and boating.

She is survived by her dad, Alex Moretta, Reading, son, Charles, husband of Amy Deininger, and their daughter, Jamie, Juneau, Alaska. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley, wife of Gus Stevens, Wyomissing. Additional survivors include many relatives and friends who loved her.

The family would like to thank the staff who cared for and loved Jane at Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, where she lived comfortably for 10 years.

Services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will private. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
