Jane H. Conboy

Jane H. (Hartman) Conboy, 91, passed away July 6, 2015 in her Wyomissing residence surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband, William J. Conboy, died on September 1, 1998.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl E. and Emma (Ferguson) Hartman. Jane was a graduate of Wyomissing High School and West Chester State Teachers College. A physical education major, she enjoyed sports and was a lifelong member of the Berks County Tennis Club. But mostly, Jane loved people and she loved Berks County. She remained active, playing golf and enjoying the company of her many friends until the time of her death. She was equally devoted to her family and never missed a graduation, birthday celebration or holiday gathering.

Jane is survived by her two children, Martha Conboy, Arlington, VA and David Conboy, Coconut Creek, FL and five grandchildren: Megan Senty, Sarah Senty, Kellie Conboy, Chelsea Conboy and Danielle Conboy.

She was predeceased by her brother, Richard E. Hartman.

A Memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private.
