With deep sorrow and much love, the family of Jancarlos Delgado announces his passing on July 22, 2025, at Reading Hospital, at the age of 35. Jancarlos passed away surrounded by his loved ones, in an atmosphere filled with peace, love, and gratitude for his life.

Jancarlos was born on September 27, 1989, in East Meadow, New York. He proudly graduated from Reading High School, Class of 2011. Beloved son of Jose Rafael Delgado and Germania Castillo whom he lovingly called his princess, and cherished grandson of Leonidas Infante. Predeceased maternal grandfather Pedro Alejandrino Castillo, maternal step-grandfather Manuel DeJesus Polanco "Canela", paternal grandfather Francisco Javier Delgado Quezada and grandmother Ramona Rosa Abreu Rodriguez. Jancarlos leaves an everlasting mark on the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his siblings William Omar, Kevin Jose, Glenda Jomary, and Massiel Josefina, he was a loving uncle to Lilyana, Liam, Lilah, his sister in law Andrea Delgado, brother in law Branddy Valerio, and other family and friends who deeply admired him.

Jancarlos was vibrant, joyful, outgoing, and full of charisma. Passionate about music, he proudly called himself DJ Janky Jank. No family gathering was complete without his energy, music, and contagious enthusiasm. He had an incredible gift for connecting with people, whether you had just met him or known him for years, he made you feel like his best friend. Always kind, humorous, and full of life, he was the heart and soul of his family.

He was known for his great sense of humor. His family fondly remembers how he would jokingly invite complete strangers to his future wedding, even though he hadn't chosen a bride yet. That was Jancarlos, warm, welcoming, and always dreaming big, with a heart large enough to embrace everyone.

He shared a special bond with his cousins, built on laughter, deep affection, and unforgettable moments. His inner strength was remarkable; even in pain, he never stopped smiling and always comforted his family with a gentle "everything is okay."

Jancarlos loved watching movies and was a self-taught expert in celebrity news; he knew the names, stories, and details of every figure in the entertainment world. This, combined with his lively personality, made him a fantastic storyteller and a joy to be around.

His passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but his legacy of love, joy, and kindness will live on in every memory, every laugh, and every song shared in his honor.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 25, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560.

The following day, a funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph R.C.C. Church at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9 until the start of mass, followed by a procession to his final resting place at Gethsemane Cemetery, located at 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605. His family extends their heartfelt thanks for the love and support received during this difficult time. Though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit will live forever in the hearts of all who loved him.

Con profunda tristeza y mucho amor, la familia de Jancarlos Delgado anuncia su fallecimiento el día 22 de julio de 2025 en el Reading Hospital, a la edad de 35 años. Jancarlos falleció rodeado de sus seres queridos, en un ambiente lleno de amor, paz y gratitud por su vida.

Jancarlos nació el 27 de septiembre de 1989 en East Meadow, Nueva York. Fue un orgulloso graduado de Reading High School, clase del 2011. Hijo amado de Jose Rafael Delgado y Germania Castillo a quien con amor llamaba su princesa, y nieto de la querida Leónidas Infante. Le precedieron en muerte su abuelo materno Pedro Alejandrino Castillo, su padrastro materno Manuel DeJesús Polanco "Canela", su abuelo paterno Francisco Javier Delgado Quezada y su abuela Ramona Rosa Abreu Rodríguez. Jancarlos deja una huella imborrable en la vida de quienes lo conocieron.

Jancarlos fue un alma vibrante, alegre, extrovertida y profundamente carismática. Se hacía llamar con orgullo DJ Janky Jank, porque la música era una de sus grandes pasiones. No había reunión familiar donde no pusiera a todos a bailar con su energía contagiosa. Su don para conectar con la gente era inigualable; no importaba si te acababa de conocer, para él ya eras su mejor amigo. Siempre tenía una palabra amable, una broma lista o una historia divertida que contar.

Era el alma de su familia, el centro de todas las reuniones, y su compañía era sinónimo de alegría. Su espíritu bromista era parte esencial de quién era su familia recuerda con una sonrisa cómo solía invitar a completos desconocidos a su futura boda, aunque aún no había elegido a la novia. Ese era Jancarlos: un soñador, un anfitrión de corazón abierto, alguien que creía que en la vida siempre había espacio para una persona más.

Tenía un lazo muy especial con sus primos, con quienes compartía no solo sangre, sino complicidad, cariño y aventuras inolvidables. Su fortaleza interior era admirable; aun cuando enfrentaba el dolor, nunca dejaba de sonreír ni de tranquilizar a los suyos con un simple y poderoso "todo está bien".

Amaba ver películas y era un experto autodidacta en farándula conocía los nombres, historias y detalles de todos los personajes del mundo del entretenimiento. Ese conocimiento, combinado con su humor, lo convertía en un gran conversador que podía iluminar cualquier habitación.

La partida de Jancarlos deja un vacío inmenso, pero su legado de alegría, calidez y amor seguirá vivo en cada risa, en cada canción, en cada recuerdo que sus seres queridos conservarán con ternura.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 25 de julio de 3:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m. en Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, ubicado en 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560.
