James U. Waldron

James U. Waldron, 82, passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 7, 2026. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late James M.K. and Marguerite (Ullrich) Waldron.

James worked for Arrow International for many years as a machinist. He was a man of many hobbies, including being outdoors: going for walks, runs and biking. He also enjoyed being in his garden, bird watching and feeding the birds. He took after his father learning to paint, and grew an appreciation for art. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and cherished the memories he made with them.

Those cherishing Jame’s memory are his children: Nicole Waldron-Clabaugh, Justin Waldron, Rebecca Waldron, and Colleen Waldron; his grandchildren: Madison Kemp, Colin Claybaugh, Mason Kemp, Noelle Clabaugh, Grant Waldron, Adalyn Furry, and Cecelia Waldron; as well as his brother, Kim Waldron. He is predeceased by his sister, Karen Waldron.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Family and friends may gather from 1 p.m. until the beginning of the service. James will be laid to rest privately in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
