James H. Pritchard

James Harris "Chip" Pritchard, Jr., 53, of Brandon, Florida, died March 11, 2007 at Coatesville Veterans Hospital, where he had been a patient for one week.

Born May 12, 1953 in Statesville, North Carolina, he was a son of James H. Sr., and Shirley Katherine (Lyon) Pritchard of Temple.

James attended Bristol High School in Bristol, Tennessee.

He was last employed a number of years as a chemist with Exxon in South Carolina.

James was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received a silver star, three purple hearts and four bronze stars.

He is also survived by a daughter, Adrienne Pritchard of Laureldale and a son, Joshua Moyer of Reading.

Other survivors include three brothers, Robert D. of Brandon, Florida, Curtis V. of Laureldale and Perry L. of Harrisburg.

James is also survived by his uncle, James V. Lyon of Bristol, TN and several cousins and family members.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. No public viewing.
