James P. Rogosky

James P. Rogosky, 82, of Sinking Spring, passed away, Monday, March 7, 2016 in Mifflin Center.

Born in Monocacy, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Kiesel) Rogosky.

James is survived by his wife, Margaret L. (Kane) Rogosky.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, Whitfield.

James was a 1952 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading, and also attended Villanova University earning degrees in mathematics and education.

He was a teacher at Daniel Boone for nine years. James also worked for Wyomissing Corporation, was the Customer Relations Manager at Camp Industries and was the General Manager at Keystone Tees.

James enjoyed golfing, fishing and sports. He especially liked watching his grandson, Matthew, play baseball.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by two sons: Peter, husband of Charise Rogosky, Temple; Joseph, husband of Kristin Rogosky, Sinking Spring; a daughter, Jean, wife of Scott Chambers, Sinking Spring; one brother, Leon Rogosky ; two sisters: Pauline Ross and Marie Rogosky, seven grandchildren: Jessica, Brittany, Hillary, Matthew, Charlotte, Meredith, Nicole, and one great-granddaughter, Blake.

He was predeceased by a brother; Henry Rogosky and three sisters; Helen Dusco, Victoria Poster and Frances Waring.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, March 10th at 10 A.M., in St. Ignatius Loyola R. C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. in the church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading, PA is in charge of arrangements.
