James Henry Noecker

James "Jim" Henry Noecker, Jr., 49, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, while on vacation in Ohio. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late James H. Noecker, Sr. and Edith K. (Dalton) Noecker. Jim graduated from Wilson High School in '91 and Northampton Community College in '93. He was employed as a park ranger in the Berks County Parks Department and a mechanic at Bob Fisher Chevrolet for 20 years as well as a security guard at St. Joseph's Medical Center for five years.

He enjoyed guns, cars, and trains. Jim was a hard worker, but every moment he wasn't working, he spent with his family, especially his son. He was a member of the Cushion Peak Gun Club.

Jim is survived by his son, James Noecker, III of Reinholds and sister, Jamie Clay of Reinholds.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading with interment at Pleasant View Cemetery to follow. The viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
