James Mengle

James M. Mengle, 92, passed away on Friday evening, Dec. 17, 2021, at Reading Hospital with family by his side. He was born in Hamburg on Feb. 18, 1929, to the late George and Eva (Koch) Mengle.

Jim attended Muhlenberg High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from High Steel Corporation as an Office Building Maintenance Manager. and then was employed for 20 years as a courier for Masano Bradley Law firm.

He was predeceased by his first wife Amelia in 1992. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sandra (Gross) Mengle, and step children, Chris Planer (Beth), Matthew Planer (Gina), and Jill Extract (Gary). There are six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
