James M. Corolla Sr.

James "Jim" M. Corolla Sr., 82, passed away peacefully in the evening of September 17th, 2026. He was the husband of the late Paulette C. (Berger) Corolla, until her passing in 2013.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Santo Corolla Jr., and Mary M. (Cianciosi) Camilleri. He was employed as a bus driver for BARTA for 28 years, retiring in 2007.

Jim was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved to spend time with his family and travel to the Outer Banks, NC, and watch the races at Maple Grove with his son Jimmy. He also loved bus trips and going to Atlantic City.

James is survived by his daughter, Denise Rison of Robesonia, grandchildren: James Mitchell husband to Lillian Mitchell, Amanda Reed, Arianna Corolla, and Coleton Mower; great-grandchildren: Liam, Madison and Hana Mitchell; and his aunt, Louise Orlando. He is also survived by his significant other of eight years, Judy Kramlich.

He was predeceased by his wife Paulette, daughter Christine Reed, son James "Jimmy" Jr., and brother Santo Corolla .
