James Landron

James Landron, Sr., 70, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his Reading home. He was the husband of Dalila Gonzalez. They met in 1979, married in 1984, and shared 46 years together.

Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Jesus Landron and Francis Aviles. He worked in construction.

James is survived by his wife, Dalila; children: Diana, Gloria, Jasmine, James, Jr., Jessica, Jessenia, and Jonathan: sisters: Vilma, Carol, and Diana; 39 grandchildren: 55 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra, and brothers: Rudy, Jerry, and Jesus.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave. West Reading, with interment at Charles Evans Cemetery to follow. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. the night before at the funeral home.
