James R. Kreisher

James Richard Kreisher, Sr., 75, of Richmond Township, died May 24, 2013 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He was the husband of Nancy Lynne (Williams) Kreisher, whom he married October 14, 1967.

Born in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Clarence and Helen (Wynn) Kreisher.

He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Spring Township.

James was a Navy Veteran.

He is also survived by two sons: Kirt B., husband of Barbara Kreisher of Greenville, SC and James R. Jr., husband of Christine M. (Schoettle) Kreisher of Spring Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Shirley L. (Kreisher), wife of Ed Ramich of Millsboro, Delaware.

There are also four grandchildren: Steven, Jason, Jordan and James III and five great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two daughters: Cathy Jean Kreisher and Patti Renee (Kreisher) Sassano.

James was also was predeceased by eight siblings: Ben, Elizabeth, Jayne, Melvin, Robert, Leonard, Margaret and Larry.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 29th at 11:30 am in Glad Tidings Church, 1110 Snyder Road, Spring Township. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, in the church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Glad Tidings Church to honor Jim's desire to see his grandsons participate in a missions trip (please write, "Kreisher-Missions" in the memo).
