James R. Korth

James R. Korth, 78, of Sinking Spring, passed away August 4, 2025, at Reading Hospital.

Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Melissa A. (Nadolsky) Korth; his daughters, Jennifer A. (Justin) Kriczky, of Spring City, PA, and Jamie M. (Jeff) Korth-Gibson, of Winchester, VA; his sister, Kathy (Jim) Mordy, of Seattle, WA; and his two grandchildren, Addison James Kriczky and Gavin Michael Kriczky.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, A.J. and Ruth (Ramsdell) Korth, and his brother, Dennis Korth.

Jim honorably served the United States Army in the Vietnam War, where he earned two Bronze Stars for his time in combat.

He was the CEO and owner of Dolfin Swimwear for 35 years retiring in 2019. One of his many professional highlights included providing swim- and gymnastic-wear for Olympians. More importantly, he cared about his employees not only professionally, but personally.

Jim was a well-known history buff and spent much of his free time reading. He was also an avid golfer and was a member of Moselem Springs Golf Club for 40 years. Jim enjoyed golfing with his lifelong friends at least three times per week. Following their 18 holes, he also loved the many meaningful discussions he had with his Moselem Buds.

Above all else, Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather (or Doo-Doo, as he was affectionately known by his grandkids). He cherished the time he got to spend with his wife, children, and grandchildren more than anything. He will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew him.

In accordance with Jim's wishes, a celebration will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306, or at the following link: Donate - Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
