James E. Keeley

James E. Keeley, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in his Lenhartsville residence. He was the devoted husband of Elizabeth (Guzik) Keeley, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.

Born in Bridgeport, PA, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Rodenbaugh) Keeley. A proud veteran, Jim served in the United States Army. After his military service, he worked as a truck driver, delivering explosives for over 31 years and then driving other large loads for a living until his retirement.

In his school years, he was an avid athlete in many sports. He enjoyed model trains, woodworking and watching sports on TV. Jim was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, Betty, Jim is survived by daughters, Kelly Keeley and Kimberley Schultz (Joseph); and grandson, Harrison Schultz. He was predeceased by his two sisters.

Services with military honors will be private. James will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery in Laureldale.
