James E. Kantner

James Edward Kantner, 63, died March 10, 2007 at 8:30 am in his Kenhorst Borough residence.

Born January 28, 1944 in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Gristick) Kantner.

He was a 1963 graduate of Reading High School.

James was employed 41 years with Agere, Muhlenberg Township, last working in 2004 in the plating department.

He is survived by a daughter, Barbara L. Zerbe of Muhlenberg Township and two sons, Stephen J. husband of Tanya A. (Bryniarski) Kantner of Kenhorst and David J. Kantner of Reading.

Other survivors include a sister, Ruth (Kantner) wife of Sam Moatz of Lewes, Delaware.

James is also survived by six grandchildren, Virginia Kantner, Spencer Kantner, Kyle Zerbe, Madeline Zerbe, Jessica Zerbe and Allison Zerbe.
