James T. Greer

James T. Greer, 55, died January 3, 2008 in his Muhlenberg Township residence.

He was the husband of Bobbi L. (Moyer) Greer.

Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late James V. and Anna (Cifrak) Greer.

He was a receiver for Wakefern Corp. retiring in June of 2007. He previously had been the supervisor of shipping and receiving for Bachman Pretzels for 25 years.

James was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a graduate of Northern Chester County Technical School.

James is also survived by his two sons, James B. Greer, Phoenixville and Matthew T. Greer, New Smyrna Beach, FL. Other survivors include one step-daughter, Korissa L. wife of Steven Turner, Shillington; one step-son, Jason W. Gift, Reading; one brother, Dennis Greer, Stowe and one sister, Patsy Hiller of Georgia. Two grandchildren, Aurora Gift and Aiden Turner also survive him.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
