James D. Eckenroad

James D. Eckenroad, 70 of Mohrsville died in the Laurel Center on July 24, 2016. He was the companion of Faye A. Luckenbill. Jim was born in W. Reading and was the son of the late David and Marie (Herkline) Eckenroad. He was a 1965 graduate of W. Reading High School and worked in the maintenance department for Nova Pak, Tuckerton for 42 years. Jim retired in 2008. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Sullivan County, PA. In addition to Faye, he is survived by his siblings, Nancy wife of Larry Mogel, Shillington, Bill Eckenroad, Phoenix, AZ. and Linda Peffer, Pascoaq, RI., nieces, Michelle wife of Andrew Clayton, Jennifer wife of Joshua Partner, nephews, Kyle Eckenroad and Steven and Randy Peffer. There are five great nephews, Brady and Carter Clayton, Preston and Nolan Partner and Steven Peffer and his son. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
