James T. Dunlavey

James T. Dunlavey, 86, of Spring Township, died August 13, 2010 in the Reading Hospital Post Acute Rehabilitation Center.

He was the husband of Rosalie A. (Perrotto) Dunlavey.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ he was a son of the late Patrick and Agnes (Smith) Dunlavey.

James was a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser. He and Rosalie owned and operated Dunlavey and Dunlavey Real Estate Inc., Berks County and from 1998 to 2006 they owned Dunlavey Appraisal Service in Margate, NJ. James returned to Berks County and retired in June of 2006.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII.

James was a member of St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Whitfield.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Maria R., wife of David J. Mast, Havertown. Also surviving is his sister, Anna May Marsh, Melbourne, FL.

James was predeceased by his siblings, Patrick and Margaret.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Whitfield, PA 19609. A visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola R.C.
