James Ciraulo, 81, of South Garfield Road, Centre Township, died July 9 at 11 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since June 25.
He was the husband of Urah C. (Balthaser) Ciraulo.
Born in Palermo, Italy, he was a son of the late Joseph and Nunzio (Ciraulo) Ciraulo.
Ciraulo was employed for 39 years as an assembler by Keiser Manufacturing Co., Reading, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Tuckerton.
An Army veteran of World War II, Ciraulo received the Purple Heart.
He is also survived by a daughter, Nancy E. (Ciraulo) Rivera, Bernville; and five sons: Durwood Balthaser, Douglassville; James J. Ciraulo, Mohnton; Michael C. and Gerald L. Ciraulo, both of Bernville; and Robert S. Ciraulo, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Other survivors include four sisters: Jennie (Ciraulo) Pons, Angie (Ciraulo) Klietsch, Rose (Ciraulo) Herula and Josephine Ciraulo, all of Chicago.
There are also 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Tuckerton.
