James F. Beckett

James Francis Beckett, Sr., "Gramps" 74, of Brecknock Township, died March 5, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Carl Lee and Grace (Woods) Beckett.

He is survived by his former wife, Sylvia King, Bellefonte and their 7 children: Nina, wife of Kevin King, Julian; Veronica Beckett, State College; James F., Jr., husband of Mary Beckett, Leola; Karl, husband of Linda Beckett, Denver; Martin, husband of Lora Beckett, Holtwood; Scott, husband of Francine Beckett, Shillington and Nicole, wife of Brandon Weaver, Bellefonte. Also surviving are his 12 grandchildren: Bruce Richwine, Petersburg, VA; David J. Prout, State College; Kara Prout, Boalsburg; Joshia Beckett, Denver; Devon Beckett, Denver; Zane Beckett, Leola; Jeffrey Parmer, Denver; Ryan Parmer, Denver; Lydia Flickenger, Bellefonte; Jamie Beckett, Elizabethtown; Danica Weaver, Bellefonte; Griffin Weaver, Bellefonte and his 5 great-grandchildren: Caydance Parmer, Terre Hill; Jeffrey G. Parmer, Jr., New Holland; Lain Beckett, Denver; Kately Shutt, Boalsburg and Alexis Prout, State College.
