James Edward "Jimmy" Baker, 40, of West Lawn, passed away, January 22, 2009 in Reading Hospital.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of Fusa Shinjo Baker, West Lawn and the late Barry W. Baker.
He was a 1987 graduate of Wilson High School.
James was a volunteer for the West Lawn/Wyomissing Hills Community Library. He was an avid gardener and a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer, Reading, a brother, Christopher M. Baker, fiancée of Jennifer Miller, West Lawn, and two sisters, Kazume, wife of Craig Koyste, Sinking Spring; and Kim, wife of James Pollock, West Lawn.
He was predeceased by a brother Barry W. Baker, Jr.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. A private burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 6:30-8:00p.m. in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Lawn/Wyomissing Hills Community Library, 101 Woodside Ave., West Lawn, PA 19609.
