James M Andorker, Sr. 73 of Hamburg died Friday surrounded by his loving family October 30, 2015 in his residence. James was born in Bethlehem and was the son of the late Frank G. and Kathryn E (. Vetrosky ) Andorker. Jim was a 1960 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and a 1966 graduate of Moravian College. He worked for 15 years as a supervisor for Bethlehem Steel and last worked for The Reading & Northern Railroad as a narrator for 25 years retiring in 2013. He played for several semi-professional baseball teams in the Lehigh Valley and was a member of the Lehigh Valley Old Timers Association. Jim was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg. His life partner, Lyn Morello, Hamburg and two sons, James M. husband of Rebecca Andorker, Hamburg and Jeffrey Andorker, Pembrooke Pine, Florida, and grandchildren Courtney Andorker and Austin Altemous survive him. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at 10:30 AM from St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 and again on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Building Fund at the above address. Burial will take place in Holy Savior Cemetery, Northampton.
