James A. Frank, 87, formerly of Wyomissing, died October 10 at 6:35 p.m. in the Kutztown Manor, Kutztown, where he had been since July 22.
He was the husband of Jeanne G. (Golden) Frank, Wyomissing.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Margaret (Reusing) Frank.
Frank was employed for 25 years as an operator and engineer by AT &T, now Lucent.
He was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Frank was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
He is also survived by two sons, Michael J., Doylestown, and James A., Lower Alsace Township; and two daughters Rosemary E. Frank-Vitale, Reading, and Jeanne M. (Frank) Wetzel, Oley.
Other survivors include a brother William, Reading.
There are also six granddaughters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 3 p.m. in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 25 Stevens Ave. West Lawn, Pa 19609, or Alzeheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Suite 1700 Chicago, IL 60601. Private burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, is in charge of the arrangements.
