Jacqueline L. Roth

Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee Roth, 80, passed away on Tuesday, January, 11, 2022, at her home. She was the wife of Robert Roth whom she married in 1959. They shared 62 happy years together.

Born in West Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jared Shears and Leah (Heckman) Ulrich. Jacqueline graduated from Reading High School. After graduating, Jackie dedicated her life to her family.

Jackie was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola RCC. She loved to play cards and dance with Bob. Her family will always remember her dedication to her family and she loved to be with them more than anything else. Jackie loved watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune in the evenings and every Thursday she and Bob had Ice Cream Night. She will be remembered by the staff at Judy's on Cherry where she celebrated her birthday, January 22, and anniversary, March 14, every year.

Jackie is survived by her adoring husband, Bob, children: Lori A. Hill (Robert) of Rising Sun, MD; Dean R. Roth (Heather) of Wernersville, PA; and Leah K. Reed (Patrick) of Mohrsille, PA; and her grandchildren: Kathryn L. Gibson; Alli N. Reed; and Christian R. Roth.

Jackie was predeceased by her brother, Dennis A. Shears.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr. Sinking Spring, PA 19608, with entombment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the mass at church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc, West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
