Jacqueline D. Hafer

Jacqueline Dawn (Riedel) Hafer, 70, of Muhlenberg Township, died August 5, 2007 in ManorCare Health Services, West Reading, where she had been a patient since July 6th.

Born September 8, 1936 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Leroy Riedel Sr., and Mary Carolina (Boltz) Riedel.

She attended Shillington High School.

Jacqueline is survived by two children, Vicky Lee (Hafer) wife of Ernest C. Hess Jr., of Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County and Michael K. husband of Suzanne E. (Sedlack) Hafer of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include seven siblings Patricia Riedel of Muhlenburg Township, Edward Riedel of Reading, Betty wife of Glenn Guldin of Topton, Sandra wife of James Reed of Wyomissing, Carol wife of Paul Renninger of Leesport, Robert Riedel of Shillington and Charles Riedel of Temple.

There is also a granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Hafer.

She was predeceased by five siblings, Ralph L. Riedel Jr., Lester Riedel, Richard Riedel, Walter Riedel and Barbara Riedel.

Services will be Thursday at 10:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Raffauf officiating.
