Jack Lee Shultz

Jack Lee Shultz, 77, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2017, at Manor Care in Sinking Spring, with his loving wife, Diane, and his family by his side.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John H. and Naomi (Foreman) Shultz. Jack was the devoted husband of Diane (Kessler), with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Jack was a graduate of Reading High School in 1957. He was also a proud member of the United States Marine Corp.

Jack worked for Met. Ed. for many years. In addition, he was also a real estate agent. Jack also enjoyed his years working for Boyertown Body and Equipment. He was also an entrepreneur. He was a true salesman, always trying to perfect his sales skills.

He was also a very active member of the Reading Jaycees, for whom he served as president.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his two children: David A, husband of Denise C Shultz; and Laura D., wife of Christopher W. Sleat. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Maxwell R. Shultz, Zoe E. Shultz, Ian Sleat, and Helen Sleat. Also surviving are his brothers: Ronald C., husband of Andrea Shultz; and Randy, husband of Judy Shultz.

Jack's family would sincerely like to thank the doctors and staff of Manor Care of Sinking Spring, as well as Heartland Hospice, for their care and compassion.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 11:30 A.M. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.
