Jack W. Holtzman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 5th, at the age of 74. Born to Ruth and Warren Holtzman, Jack grew up in West Reading, Pennsylvania, and was a proud member of West Reading High School Class of 1968.
Jack's love of sports was a defining aspect of his life. He was the owner of Holtzman's Sporting Goods. For 36 years, he served as a softball official, and for an incredible 51 years, he brought his passion and expertise to the football field as an official. Jack's dedication to the game and his fairness on the field earned him respect from players, coaches, and fellow officials alike.
Beyond sports, Jack's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Whether gathered around the table or on the sidelines, Jack loved to share stories, discuss the finer points of the game, and revel in the camaraderie of those he held dear.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Toni Holtzman; his sons, Matt Holtzman (Laura) and Mark Holtzman (Beth); his two cherished grandchildren, Henry and Sadie, who brought endless joy to his life; and his sister, Joyce Aukamp (William).
Jack's legacy is one of love, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for family, friends, and the games he loved. He will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611.
