Jack Wallace Heffelfinger

Jack Wallace Heffelfinger, 82, passed away on October 20, 2021, in the Reading Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Stefanik) Heffelfinger, with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late W. Jack and Dorothy (Rhoads) Heffelfinger.

Jack was a graduate of Reading High School and also attended Penn State, where he pursed an Aeronautical Engineer degree.

He was a United States Army Veteran, were he worked as a Sentry Guard Handler at the U.S. Nike missile sites. He also was employed by Acme Markets as an office manager and at AWI, Robesonia.

Jack enjoyed wood working and would love working on his 63 Corvette. He was a member of the Skyline Drive Corvette club and was a licensed private and commercial pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in the Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in honor of Jack to Habitat for Humanity of Berks County, 201 Washington Street Suites 329 & 330 Reading, PA 19601.
